Over winter break I watched at minimum three episodes of Grey's Anatomy a day. I'm not proud of it. Unfortunately, it would have been more if it didn't take so damn long to stream from surfthechannel. I filled the long waits with baking- so much so that Thai had to tell me to stop. He assumed that I was trying to emulate Izzie. I'm not that invested, I swear. If I was any character, I would think I'm the "Nazi".

Apparently Christine reads in the dark because she's afraid to turn on the light and Ryan unplugs all of the appliances to make me happy. Is it so bad that I want to keep utilities down? They all want to turn the heater on nowadays because it's been unusually cold for Southern California. It's probably testing my immune system, but I refuse to give in. Plus, since we don't have any ice, it's keeping my broken toe cold.

I broke my toe in a really ridiculous way that I am too embarassed to explain. I wouldn't have any problems if it wasn't so abnormally long, you know. Darn my father's genes.

Tomorrow is the first day of classes. I didn't even know my schedule until just now. I've spent an hour and a half going through my degree audit, and I've realised that I only have a few classes left. I'm a senior in standing. What on middle-earth? How terrifying!

I'm only really looking forward to MUN tomorrow. The maximum number for enrollment is 40. Currently? We're at 39.

I'm beaming with pride, yet also wondering if this is superficial. Is it a fluke? An accident? Are people hearing the wrong things and joining for the wrong reasons? On more than one occasion people have told me that MUN has a strange reputation around Social Sciences... not bad, but certainly strange.

Oh well, I'll take whatever popularity I can get.
